Woolies offers 8 weeks paid maternity – leading the way ?

This is about time that Woolworths came to the party to support their 85,000 female employees across Australia – to support families – I don’t imagine Coles will be far behind.

But Woolworths aren’t first cab off the rank with the announcement follows moves by Aldi to offer 14 weeks’ maternity leave at half pay; Myer has offered six weeks on full pay – now Woolworths 8 weeks on full pay.

Great idea for maintaining staff.
